Everyone's favorite Nandy Sisters (Antara Nandy and Ankita Nandy) shared their journey on the stage of Josh Talks today. They were born in Assam. Raised in Kolkata. From performing in reality shows to becoming viral stars on social media, the journey has not been easy. Their 'Balcony Concert' went viral overnight and got over a million views during the lockdown. Big names from Lata Mangeshkar to Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Alka Yagnik, Shaan, Abhijeet have praised their songs at various times. Antara gets a chance to sing with Salim Suleman. Later she also worked with A.R.Rahman in Ponniyin Selvan 1 directed by Mani Ratnam. Ankita has taken herself to the top of the success today by listening to music from a very young age .The Nandy Sisters have also worked with the revered artist Surjit Chatterjee. Recently, they recorded their first Bengali playback song (Nakku Nakur Na Jao Thakur), composed by Anindya Chatterjee, in the film 'Raktabeej' directed by Shibaprasad and Nandita Roy. Today they have many followers on Facebook and Instagram. Coping with many ups and downs, holding each other's hands firmly, they are moving forward on the way to fulfill their dreams.

সবার প্রিয় Nandy Sisters (Antara Nandy ও Ankita Nandy) আজ জোশ টকসের মঞ্চে নিজেদের জার্নির গল্প শেয়ার করলো। তাঁদের জন্ম আসামে। বেড়ে ওঠা কলকাতায়। রিয়ালিটি শো-তে পারফরমেন্স থেকে শুরু করে সোশ্যাল মিডিয়ায় ভাইরাল ষ্টার হওয়ার যাত্রা সহজ ছিল না। লকডাউনের সময়ে তাঁদের 'ব্যালকনি কনসার্ট' রাতারাতি ভাইরাল হয় ও মিলিয়নের ওপর ভিউস পায়। লতা মঙ্গেশকর থেকে শুরু করে সোনু নিগম, শঙ্কর মহাদেভন, অলোকা ইয়াগনিক, শান, অভিজিৎ সহ বড় মাপের শিল্পীরা তাঁদের গানের প্রশংসা করেন বিবিধ সময়ে। সেলিম সুলেমানের সাথে গান করার সুযোগ পায় অন্তরা। পরবর্তীকালে মণিরত্নম পরিচালিত Ponniyin Selvan 1 সিনেমাতে A.R.Rahman-এর সাথেও সে কাজ করে। অঙ্কিতা ছোট থেকে কেবল শুনে শুনেই গান শিখে নিজেকে আজ সাফল্যের শিখরে নিয়ে গেছে। Nandy Sisters, সকলের শ্রদ্ধেয় শিল্পী সুরজিৎ চ্যাটার্জি-র সাথেও কাজ করেছে। সম্প্রতি শিবপ্রসাদ ও নন্দিতা রায় পরিচালিত ছবি 'রক্তবীজ'-এ, অনিন্দ্য চট্টোপাধ্যায়-এর সাথে, তাঁরা তাঁদের প্রথম বাংলা গানের (Nakku Nakur Na Jao Thakur) প্লে ব্যাক করেছে। ফেসবুক,ইনস্টাগ্রামে আজ তাঁদের অসংখ্য ফলোয়ার। অনেক ওঠা পড়া সামলে,শক্ত করে একে ওপরের হাত ধরে তাঁরা এগিয়ে চলেছে নিজেদের স্বপ্নপূরণের পথে।
