✈ RYANAIR | Our Last Airline | Last Ryanair Flights from London Southend

Hello and welcome to SOUTHEND AVIATION!

Here's the video I never wanted to make, Southend's last commercial flight (hopefully just temporarily) A few months ago Ryanair announced they too would close their Southend Airport base in October 2021. It's so sad to see near enough all other airports in the UK pick up passenger numbers and aircraft movements while Southend is going the opposite direction.

In this video we take a look at Ryanair's final week of operations at London Southend Airport. Footage was taken on various days throughout the week from a few different spots around the airport. I'd like to add, it wasn't just me who helped make this video. Ryanair crew and Airport ground staff were kind enough to contribute to the video with pictures and ATC audio to really give it that "icing on the cake". This would have been a very different video if it wasn't for you guys.

I wish all the SEN based Ryanair crew the very best at their new bases, hopefully I'll be on board with you again soon. And to all the staff affected at London Southend I hope you can all continue your career in the aviation industry, it'll be nice to see those familiar faces back at SEN very soon... And to those who remain at SEN, keep doing what you're doing. You're all a godsend to this airport and you're all playing your part in keeping the aerodrome alive.
