In this video, we explore Article Four of Common Sense 2.0 – Mandate for America: the urgent need to overturn the Supreme Court’s Citizens United ruling and restore democracy to the American people.
Citizens United opened the floodgates for unlimited corporate and special‐interest spending in elections, giving wealthy donors outsized influence and drowning out the voices of working-class citizens.
We’ll explain: what Citizens United did; how campaign finance is broken today; how a constitutional amendment can reverse it; sample amendment language; and what YOU can do — contacting your representatives, demanding reform, supporting candidates who pledge to take on this fight.
