Every Saturday at Noon, Crawford County, Indiana, tests it's outdoor warning sirens. Most of the sirens are of ASC brand with an older 2001-DC also in the system. Many of the sirens are mounted on towers, I don't know why. Marengo has a T-128 and a T-121. There is also another T-128 at the high school a few miles away. I am convinced that there are other sirens in the system, but I am not sure where they would be at.

I was not expecting the T-121 to be that loud from the distance I recorded it from, nor was I expecting the T-128 to do attack. The reverb was some of the best I've ever heard. In real life it sounded much better but in the video, the T-121 obscures some of that sound (I was hoping for the sound to be equal). The T-121 shuts off early so you will be able to hear the T-128 do at least another cycle of attack. Most of that sound is 'bouncing' off the distribution center which stores warehouse goods inside a hill, underground. The area where the entrance was placed is in a huge cut into the hill. The result is this tall, stone wall that acts as a 'mirror' for the sound the T-128 directs toward it. Every time the T-128 swings past me, you can hear an apocalyptic echo a few seconds later.

Yes, I do plan on redoing another ambience sometime in the future, especially because of what happened at 0:50, and I think I was a little too close to the T-121. I don't know when, but I think I will record the T-128 first or the old 2001. In case you didn't see the first picture, the T-128 was dedicated to the only person killed by Marengo Tornado back in 2004.
