Workshop Description: Small clinics can have a big impact! Patients served by free and charitable clinics have a diversity of needs. We believe you can leverage your resources to meet more of those needs. By making the most of your clinic space, your talent pool, your community resources and your time, we believe you can do more for your patients. We will discuss strategies for better utilizing the physical space of your clinic to allow for patients, volunteers, students, donated medical supplies, clinical services, dispensary, and administration. We will present strategies to enable clinicians to provide comprehensive care with in house equipment for diagnosis and interventions. This will also include what to do when the care is beyond the services your clinic can provide. Your community has solutions and connecting with these will help support your patients. Utilizing stable staff and well trained volunteers can allow you to do more with less!
