Video Info: ARABIC LESSON 12a: A little more about MADD ~ Showing you how you will also see MADD ALIF ~ ALIF MAQSURAH. This MADD is also 2 VOWEL COUNTS long.

Please Note: You will usual see Alif Maqsurah when a FAT-HAH comes on the Letter before it.

Remember you will not see this MADD joining with certain Letters because some are 'NAUGHTY LETTERS' that do not join with any Letter that comes after them.

Take a Look back at the previous Lessons to Recap what you have learnt so far, before moving onto the next Lessons. Make sure to ask us any Questions if you don't understand anything, In Shaa Allaah.

To help a little with Pronunciation here is the TRANSLITERATION (Sound) of each Letter...
Alif, Baa, Taa, Thaa, Jeem, H'aa, Khaa, Daal, Dhaal, Raa, Zaa/Zaay, Seen, Sheen, S'aad, D'aad, T'aa, Th'aa, 'Aayn, Gh'ayn, Faa, Qaaf, Kaaf, Laam, Meem, Noon, Haa, Waw, Yaa, (Hamzah)

The Letter Zaa / Zaay is heard pronounced in both ways in various methods of Teaching. We have occasionally used both ways in some Lessons for this reason.
