Using a Honda Ridgeline with a Tailgate Pad to Haul a Mountain Bike

I scored this Dakine tailgate pad in the local classifieds for $20. Since I test a lot of different trucks, and do a lot of mountain biking, I wanted a tailgate pad to be able to use each different truck to haul my bike. The pad is a size large, which is typically meant for full-size trucks, but the previous owners had cut off the corners to fit an Escalade EXT. Coincidentally, this allows it to now fit midsize trucks like the 2020 Honda Ridgeline as well.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video is that the Ridgeline includes a clever lockable storage compartment under the bed, which is great for hauling your helmet, pack, gloves, and tools when you go out for a ride.
