The Croatian Sinkovic brothers, Martin and Valent, entered the men's rowing pair final race as overwhelming favorites to win the gold medal, with a betting coefficient of 1,03. They won with a time of 6:15.29.

Silver went to Marius Cozmiuc and Ciprian Tudosă of Romania, while Frederic Vystavel and Joachim Sutton of Denmark took bronze.
