The Philippines topmost railway project” the PNR North South Commuter Railway” also known as PNR Clark - Calamba line is on the track to be partially operational this year. As PNR Clark Phase 1, The Malolos to Tutuban Segment’s overall project progress rate stand at 53 point 85%.

As communicated by the Transportation department, this progress rate includes not just the 10 stations, but also the viaducts and the girders, and other components of the project. On the other hand, PNR Clark Phase 2, The Malolos to Clark International Airport overall progress rate stand at 34-point 46%. While PNR phase 3, Solis to Calamba Segment now stand at 28-point 63% overall progress rate.

The department projected that all the 10 stations in the PNR Clark Phase 1, can be completed in less than two years, as well as the six stations for the 53-kilometer PNR Clark Phase 2 from Malolos to Clark International Airport. Construction of PNR Clark Phase 1 started in early 2020, while the construction of PNR Clark Phase 2 started in 2021. Though the pre-construction activities for the project, such as site inspections, land clearing and preparation started as early as 2019.
