The Otis Elite is a universal gun cleaning kit with over 60 components for cleaning rifles, pistols, shotguns and muzzleloaders. Inside the zippered nylon bag, you’ll find everything you need to properly clean and maintain your firearms.
The Elite comes with a complete Tactical Cleaning Kit, a compact soft pack kit, for easy on-the-go cleaning as needed. The Tactical includes gear to clean everything from .17 caliber through 12 gauge. The Otis Elite also comes with (3) 1/2 oz bottles of Shooter's Choice FP-10 Lubricant Elite®, with two in the Elite case, and one inside the Tactical Cleaning Kit.
The Tactical includes (6) bronze bore brushes, (3) cables, 2” & 3” patches, and a chamber flag. The Tactical Cleaning Kit is easy to remove from the Elite case and ready to go wherever you may need it. Need something from the larger case but don’t want to bring the whole kit along? Grab your Tactical and load it up with everything you need for your shoot.
The Elite includes (16) caliber specific bronze bore brushes with sizes marked on the brush stems ranging from .17 caliber to 12 gauge. Each brush is neatly organized in an individual case and clearly marked with their caliber.
Otis Premium Bronze Bore Brushes have twice the fill when compared to other brushes and the Tufcor proprietary core wire is corrosive resistant and crafted with a tighter twist for better bristle retention and can be used with all firearm cleaning chemicals.
(6) Aircraft-grade Memory-Flex® cables are included for proper Breech-to-Muzzle® cleaning of various barrel lengths. These flexible cables are coated so as to not damage the crown and feature threaded brass ends that won’t harm your bore. (3) of these are located inside the Elite and (3) inside the Tactical.
A small t-handle & stud are included for use with the small caliber cable as well as both a .17 and .22 caliber limited breech bore brush for cleaning smaller caliber firearms.
The 2” & 3” 100% cotton, proprietary round Otis patches are used in conjunction with the (3) slotted tips & (2) Patch Savers®, which can be found in the Tactical Cleaning Kit.
Each Otis patch can be used up to six times, offering six new cleaning surfaces. Simply remove the patch, rotate to a new slot and re-tie the patch. Once three slots have been used, turn the patch over and repeat the process.
Tying a patch correctly on a slotted tip, using the proper pinch position for your caliber, allows Otis patches to form a perfectly circular cleaning swab for 360-degree coverage of your bore.
The kit also includes small & large brass obstruction removers. Otis cleaning cables, when inserted into the bore of your firearm, act like a cleaning rod and can be used with an obstruction remover to knock out obstructions such as mud, snow, or stuck casings.
A .223 cal/5.56mm chamber brush is included for cleaning stubborn fouling in the locking lugs and chamber of your AR style rifles. The aggressive bronze bristles at the head of the Otis chamber brush scrub the chamber, neck and shoulder. The steel bristles at the base scrub the star chamber of the locking lugs, tackling that hard build-up.
The included male & female rod brass rods with 8-32 threads can be used with several accessories which also come standard in the in the kit. Use them with the pin punch for firearm disassembly, and or with the end brush, straight pick, locking lug scraper, flat scraper, or the short AP brush for more precise cleaning.
Our double-end AP brush is great for cleaning various areas of your firearms, such as slides and receivers. With one broad end for larger surface scrubbing and a narrow end for precision cleaning in tighter spaces, the stiff nylon bristles are aggressive enough to remove caked-on fouling in most locations but won’t scratch your firearm finish and can be used on virtually any surface, including wood.
The Otis microfiber gun cloth is exceptional for cleaning all surfaces and is great for removing oils and fingerprints, providing final touch-ups, and can even be used on optics. It’s soft to the touch and durable, making it an ideal addition to the Elite.
Additional lens cleaning products provided in the Otis Elite include lens tissues, lens cleaning spray, a lens brush and a microfiber lens cloth for complete optics care.
