Just a quick video showing how I 'fixed' an electronic throttle issue with a 2015 RAM 1500. The owner said that the engine was revving even when braking and he was getting the warning message on the dash for 'service electronic throttle'.
You will see that it was an easy fix, and I probably would've figured it out sooner had I taken it for a test drive first...

It turns out the Customer's wife was being so nice and had cleaned the mud off of his floor mats for him and when he got in to drive it. He didn't notice anything different other than the engine revving for no apparent reason. (He does wear heavy boots and just didn't look down or I guess he didn't feel anything different or notice what was wrong).

He was so happy that this was an easy 'fix'. He was planning to take it to another shop, but they couldn't look at it for another week.

The Customer was only mad at me because I didn't charge him anything for this.
