Changing the power steering fluid | AUTODOC tips

Steering response deterioration, jerking when turning the steering wheel and strange noises under the hood are the main signs that the power steering fluid isn't working properly 💧

It should be changed at the intervals set by your car manufacturer, at least once every 2 years ⏳

0:00 — Power steering fluid change
0:10 — You'll need
0:56 — Remove the power steering cap and pump out the old fluid with the help of a syringe.
1:24 — Remove the pump hoses and drain out the old fluid into the prepared drain pan.
2:05 — Add a small amount of the new fluid into the reservoir.
2:58 — Pour in the new power steering fluid.
3:23 — Check the fluid level, it should be between the reservoir's Min and Max marks.
4:09 — Start the engine and turn the steering wheel all the way left and right.
