Pies from all over the nation have arrived in Penrose to be judged by pastry professionals.

The Bakels Supreme Pie Awards are now in their 25th year, and the competition has grown to 4500 pies entered by 500 bakers.

We sent reporter Tom Taylor and cameraman Nick Monro along, tough gig, to get a taste of the action.
