Scouting for tog right before the season started. There is plenty of fish in the bay and the keepers are in the mix as well. I was using shore crabs on a 1oz tog jig and a dropper loop 3/0 hook about 12 inches above the jig. I usually won’t use a rig like this but this is how my line was set up from a previous fluke trip and I was too lazy to change it lol. The first trip was very productive, the next day was a little on the slower side but I managed to land my biggest tog this year 20 1/2 inches.
