Exploring the Texas Hill Country - "Rivers and Ribeyes"

After a phenomenal trip to the Philippines, I am ready to hit the trails back in the United States! Keeping it close to home, I headed out to theTexas Hill Country and drove part of the "Hill Country Overlanding Route". This segment is called the "Rivers and Ribeyes" trail and is featured on OnX Offroad. This trail takes you off the beaten path through some small river crossings with a nearby secluded campground. This was just what the doctor ordered to get me back on the trails despite the relentless heat and humidity.
