Main Story – “Memories of Dreams Bygone”
The main narrative chase continues in Season 2: Chapter 4 is titled “Memories of Dreams Bygone”.
The update deep-dives into the mysterious faction known as Spook Shack, which had been introduced earlier.

One of the new Agent Story quests: “The Inverted Night Lantern” (for Lucia) is introduced.
The update also brings a new game mode: “Threshold Simulation - Branching Echoes”, as well as changes to the “Lost Void” challenge with new gear drops for the new Agents.

What this means for story-players
Expect deeper lore into Spook Shack and how their “idol/illusion” motif (more below) ties into the Hollow / Ether corruption story.
The Agent Story segments let you experience each new character’s personal back-story, motivations and how they integrate with the established world.

System changes (new modes) mean more end-game content, so if you make a guide you can highlight new “what to farm”, “what to anticipate” segments.

Featured Agents
Here are the major ones for 2.3:

1. Lucia – S-Rank, Ether attribute, Support role
Her kit focuses on support: buffing allies’ max HP, triggering special states when “Dream Value” accumulates, applying “Aftershock” effects.

She is expected to be the phase 1 headliner of the banner.
Her weapon (S-Rank W-Engine) is Dreamlit Hearth.
2. Yidhari – S-Rank, Ice attribute, Rupture role
Debuts in phase 2 of the version.
As an Ice Rupture, she presumably offers both crowd-control and high damage, especially useful for freezing or controlling enemies.
W-Engine: Kraken’s Cradle (S-Rank) linked with her release.
3. Komano Manato – A-Rank, Fire attribute, Rupture role
Released in phase 1 alongside Lucia.
As an A-Rank character, easier to obtain, and fills a Rupture / DPS niche for Fire attribute.
His signature A-Rank W-Engine: Grill O’Wisp.

Rerun Agents
For Phase 1: Vivian is the S-Rank rerun.
For Phase 2: Ju Fufu is the S-Rank rerun.

Phase 1 (October 15 → November 5, 2025): Lucia (S-Rank) + Manato (A-Rank) + Vivian rerun.
Phase 2 (November 5 → November 25, 2025): Yidhari (S-Rank) + Ju Fufu rerun.
W-Engine banners run concurrently: for example, Dreamlit Hearth with Lucia; Kraken’s Cradle with Yidhari.
