The horn ensemble assembled for this occasion comprises outstanding musicians of primarily Slovene origin: Andrej Žust, a member of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra; Boštjan Lipovšek and Mihajlo Bulajić, horn soloists with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra; Jože Rošer and Blaž Ogrič, joint heads of the horn section of the Slovene Philharmonic Orchestra; Sebastijan Buda, a new member of the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra; Peter Kšenek, a member of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra; and Matías Piñeira, an internationally renowned Chilean horn player and artistic director of the Horn Ensemble at this concert.
