I've managed to bodge a bigger pinion in the FTX Tracer, and the results are impressive.
61.1 mph (annoyingly not quite 100 kph).

Tyres balloon badly, so I need to get some belted ones.

I think the motor has more in it, but to gear it up more will require modifying the chassis.
