“A History of Motor Racing Part 6: The Champions 1949 to 1954” is a black-and-white film on the history of Formula 1 Racing by Shell and produced by Raymond Spottiswoode. Likely released in the late 1950s, the film addresses the growing interest in motor racing after WWII and highlights the new generation of Formula 1 racers (Fangio, Ascari, González, Farina, etc.) and their cars during the immediate postwar period through footage taken from Grand Prix races across Europe from 1949-1951.
