Thomas Henderson, Dallas Cowboys Linebacker (1975-1979)

Описание к видео Thomas Henderson, Dallas Cowboys Linebacker (1975-1979)

Thomas Henderson was part of the 1975 "Dirty Dozen" which were the 12 rookies that made the Cowboys roster that year. He was was a great athlete. He was fast and players saw him keep pace on runs with Tony Dorsett, and even out run some NFL wide receivers. Just as Frank Luska says here on the video, "when do you ever see a Linebacker returning kickoffs?" He was not only a great athlete, but quite a character too on America's Team. Unfortunately, over time Thomas had issues with drugs and was released from the team in November 1979. Thomas has been on top as a World Champion in 1978, on the bottom by spending a little over 2 years in prison during the 1980's, then on top again by winning $28 million in the Texas Lottery in 2000. Video is from ESPN's Distant Replay.
