Erika Casupanan's Family Reacts to her Winning Survivor 41 (edited like a LIVE finale reveal)

Even though votes for the winner of Survivor 41 were read at final tribal council, the winner Erika still deserves as close to a live reveal experience as possible in video form. So I thought it would be a cool idea to put together a pseudo-live finale reveal by using a side-by-side between the reading of the votes at final tribal council and Erika's family's reaction to finding out that she won Survivor at her live viewing party with a ton of family and friends in Toronto.
Heather was also there, flew in to Toronto to be there with her (although not in the video).

Anyway, Erika is the first female winner in 4 and a half years. I was starting to get worried we'd never see a woman win again. So glad the curse has been lifted since introduction of the fire making challenge in S35. Erika is such a relatable winner, a dark horse, an underdog! What an unexpected outcome after several seasons of quite predictable editing (besides EoE).
She is also first woman of an East/Southeast Asian ethnicity to win Survivor!
Additionally, she is the first Canadian winner. Lastly, she is the first winner to be born in another country and also another continent. What an incredible accomplishment!

A note to my subscribers: You might have noticed I have been offline for the last 22 months or so. I haven't been checking comments if you guys left any, if wondering where I was. Just been a lot busier with work in my early 30s than when I was in limbo back in my mid 20s between temporary jobs. I had to move past making custom intros and focus on life. I still watch the show though and am active in Discord and stuff.
I just wanted to say I appreciate the kind words many of you shared over the years. I guess I was one of the first to make custom intros with edited screenshots. So glad to see that nowadays there are so many others making their own custom intros and are meeting that need (since the show doesn't make intros anymore). To be honest, a lot of the new fans making custom intros are much better than mine and make mine look very outdated. A lot of fans are doing a great job at making those intros, and it's nice to see people putting in that kind of work. Maybe I'll make a custom intro again for old time's sake one of these days, but I've mostly moved on.
