How To Shutter Drag Images | Photography Tips

Here are two things that you need in order to create shutter drag images. So we have my camera here and the first thing you're gonna need is a wide angle lens. So here I have the G Master 35mm lens. This is my favorite lens to use for shutter drag images. The next thing that you're going to need is a flash. And this is going to go on top of your camera. So here I have the Godox V1 flash. And you want to make sure that you're pointing this directly forward. This flash is going to mount on top of your camera, and it's going to allow you to take shutter drag images.
- In order to take shutter drag images, you have to have a pretty low shutter, around 1/10 and you're gonna point this flash directly forward. Bring your aperture high like maybe F/5.6 and when you take the photo you're gonna drag your camera in a sweeping motion like this (shown in video). Which is going to give you the shutter drag results.
