Buenno's dam the NRPS Dutch warmblood Edwina is a Supreme Champion high scoring SSH 1st premium and Model predicate mare. She was awarded exceptionally high marks at her SSH mare grading with a 9 for walk, 8.5 for trot and 7 for conformation jump and canter.

Edwina's progeny have consistently been successful in the county show ring winning many Championships and Supreme Championships. Under saddle she placed 2nd in the HOYS CHAPS ONN at the Royal Lancashire and Yorkshire Agricultural Shows aged 4. Winner of the CHAPS In-hand ONN at the Royal Highland Show, 1st and Champion ridden small hunter Perth and Supreme Inhand Champion OF Show, Fife winning the Kilconquar Trophy.

Buenno's bloodlines are a combination of both jumping and dressage genes from the worlds leading stud books including the grand prix show jumping stallion Wellington by stallion of the century Nimmerdor both owned by the famous VDL Stud in the Netherlands. On his damline we find the bloodlines of Ekstein, Lucky Boy, Joost and the dressage bloodlines of Damenstolz. Many have received first premiums at the SSH mare and young stock gradings.

His eldest progeny are now competing with success under saddle. Daughter Solaris Fechinna finished in the top 25% of young show jumpers in France in 2015 aged five.

Buenno produces foals with strong muscle development, he improves the top line and consistently produces progeny with clean, correct well defined limbs. His foals move with more than sufficient power, elasticity and suppleness with an abundance of elevation in trot and canter with an active length of stride to their walks.

His progeny have been sold as far as the Czech Republic, Switzerland & France. He has been embraced by breeders worldwide with his first progeny due in Australia this year. 2017 will see his largest foal crop to date due to the success of his frozen semen purchased by clients residing in Belgium, France, Switzerland and his fresh chilled semen distributed throughout the UK.

In addition to his proven performance bloodlines, Buenno is Homozygous for the tobiano gene, thus providing breeders with the certainty that his progeny will be coloured with bay or chestnut tobiano markings.

Regrettably Buenno suffered an injury as a yearling severing his hind extensor. It has therefore not been possible to follow a ridden career hence the irregular movement of his right hind.

Buenno is licensed with the AES and is available for the distribution of fresh chilled semen from Stallion AI Services throughout the UK and Europe.
