Memories are a strange thing. I wrote these lyrics over 30 years ago while on a summer trip to Paris, France. That was in July of 88 then I put music to them in January of 89 while living in Santo Domingo. Maybe I played it a lot for myself but don't think I've ever performed it live. For some reason in the past couple of weeks this song just popped into my head and I kept singing it over and over again, the first few lines at least. I'm not really sure about the middle part I think it was in E minor but the song itself was definitely in A. I remember because of the strumming patterns with the open strings. Anyway, this one's called "Brooding".
