2 MILLION TROOPS CLASH at STALINGRAD - DEADLIEST LAST STAND - GERMAN ALL-OUT ASSAULT

The wait is finally over. Inspired by the German All-Out Assault at Stalingrad, this is an epic clash of 2 million troops. As the Soviets prepared their last stand defenses, the German struggle in an intense urban combat granted them 90% of the city captured. With a few heavily fortified pockets left, victory was seemingly inevitable until the Soviets launched Operation Uranus, which broke through flanks and surrounded the German 6th Army. This Uno reverse moment put the Germans definitively into their last stand, trapped and no hope for rescue.

The biggest project I've ever been part of, I made this colossal map which put the game at its highest limits. The city of Stalingrad is massive, so I designed a GTA style map, that isn't 1 to 1 scale, but looks real and has all major points of interest represented.

Even at this size, I had to make compromises and focus on the Central/Southern part instead, which left the Dzerzhinsky Tractor and Barrikady Factory located in the north to wait another time.
