"At this years CES, the overall theme is artificial intelligence. We've seen it last year. Artificial intelligence last year was actually quite big. A lot of companies came out with updates on how their products were functioning with AI. And this year, we're going to see another step forward with improvements with what they were presenting last year. "

SOUNDBITE (English) Jonathan Roubini, Technology Expert:
"This year AI is going to just show you how they can continue to make our lives easier and better. But consumers are not going to see a major change in their lifestyles just yet. The plan is in the next five to 10 years that artificial intelligence will really play a major role in our lives and improve our lives from many perspectives."

"CES 2025 will be the largest business event tradeshow in the world by many definitions, but it be largest and most important different categories, including the home entertainment space where the chief marketing officer has come. This is one of the most important events in the world. We'll get over 10,000 people focused on marketing and platforms and new technology together. Meeting at several hotels in Las Vegas"

11. SOUNDBITE (English) Gary J. Shapiro President of the Consumer Technology Association:
"CES has always focused on safety. There’s a lot of things we can’t talk about — but suffice it to say, we work with federal, state, local and facility officials for lots of planning. We’ve made some modest changes given the recent events, but we’re always trying to do it better."

13. SOUNDBITE (English) Gary J. Shapiro President of the Consumer Technology Association:
"We estimate under some of the proposals will be a range of a 30 to 50% price increase for basic products like PCs, cell phones, laptops, tablets, smartwatches, all sorts of different products that consumers get a great value on today. And what that means is that fewer consumers will be able to access these products. It won't affect the overall industry. Sales people will still buy the products, but fewer people will buy the products"
