Once you land all the pikmin run away and hide. Go find them all, there will be as many loose as you can release form your onions.

There are two large enemies fight on the first day here:
Porquillion
On the table in the center of the room is the Porquillion. This is a timing play. Wait until he throws off their quills and attack. Without using anything special should take 4-6 attacks. You will get an Interstellar Radio once you eliminate the Porquillion. This is just an FYI in case you are like me and ignore all the conversations. You will not be able to move either until you find and eliminate the Gildemander.

Gildemander
The Gildemander can be found at the staircase base but only after you kill the Porquillion. This is a finesse game, although I am assuming there are some more brute force attacks, let me know in the feedback below how you eliminate the Gildemander. This is just time and patience. Let the Gildemander get close until it starts to lick get behind it and start attacking. Knock the gold blocks off and you will see some red spots to attack. If you can destroy the gold blocks as they come off the Gildemander cannot protect the red spots on its back. This will take a few iterations but you will get there.

On the following days the biggest challenge will be:
Man-at-Legs
In the kitchen island area you will see the Man-at-Legs. While this video does brute force with Ultra-Bitter spice another option is to use lightning and attack with yellows also using Ultra-Bitter Spice. The first option should take 3-4 iterations and you will lose some pikmin. Take the time to hid behind the dishes if you can as it will blast through the clay pots pretty fast. The second option is fast and could be done in one fail swoop.
