Dell EMC PowerStore with AppsON and HPE Hyperconvergence update

Dell EMC has finally released their much anticipated PowerStore (aka Midrange.NEXT) mid-range storage array. It packs quite a few features but what caught my attention is "AppsON", a first-of-a-kind feature that enables you to run applications directly on storage array.

HPE throws in a big update for their popular Nimble Storage dHCI hyperconvergence platform: more supported servers, better scalability and lifecycle management...all this now available through HPE GreenLake consumption model.

HPE SimpliVity 325 with 2nd gen AMD EPYC processors has been validated by LoginVSI for VDI capabilities. The results are staggering: 300 virtual desktops in 1 rack unit! Seriously impressive.
