On August 21, 2023, an officer on patrol near International Drive in Orlando, Florida initiated what appeared to be a routine traffic stop on a gray Chevy Traverse with heavy dark window tints.

But within minutes, the stop began to unravel.

The driver, Tori Pugliese, was unable to provide vehicle registration and was later found to be operating an unregistered vehicle with a canceled driver’s license. As officers attempted to escort her to the patrol vehicle, tensions escalated when she pulled away and resisted without violence.

During an inventory search of the SUV, officers made another unexpected discovery — multiple temporary license tags hidden inside the vehicle.

This bodycam footage captures the entire encounter, from first contact to arrest, showing how a simple traffic stop quickly escalated into multiple charges.
