Living root bridges are very common in Meghalaya but not in India, hence people from all over the country and abroad especially come to Meghalaya for these spectacular bridges.
At many places in Meghalaya one can find living root bridge but the longest single decker bridge and the double decker living root bridge are in Nongriat village in Meghalaya ( Meghalaya tourism video).
Its a journey of whole day and a wonderful trek of around 3700 steps which i started from Tyrna village which is the closest spot to start the trek.
