BAMT Racial Awareness Event

Following from the BAMT Diversity Report 2020, this important event explored the current position of race in therapy settings with a view to make real change within the Music Therapy profession in the UK. Hosted by BAMT and chaired by Davina Wilson, this panel event included discussion around existing inequalities within the profession and wider field of Music Therapy.

The panelists were: Hannah Berhanu, Ray Travasso, Jane Nicola Douglas, Michaela de Cruz, Catherine Warner, Alphonso Archer, Andrew Langford, Davina Wilson, Julie Hoggarth and Denise Wong. The event took place on Zoom on Saturday 24th April 2021.
