France - Strike In Paris To Include Bourse

France slid further into paralysis on Monday (4/12) as the conservative government and labour unions embarked on a high-risk
trial of strength, with post office, electricity and other public
sector employees joining a crippling strike by transport
employees. French financial markets slumped in response, with the franc falling against the German mark and the Paris Bourse plunging 2.5 percent.
