Using Stitch Markers for Single Crochet Beginners Crochet

Stitch Markers are very helpful when you are first starting out. All the time I see people questioning why their work is getting smaller and smaller, and sometimes bigger and bigger. This is due to not keeping the same stitch count, which is either missing a stitch or adding too many. Learning how to use stitch markers will make your life so much easier as a beginner!

*My favorite hooks so far are the Tulip Rose. I used to get a lot of pain in my hands if I crocheted too long and for too many days in a row and even had to stop for a while to let my hand heal. After getting these hooks, I have not had that problem again! The yarn slides effortlessly through the hook and doesn’t strain my hands or get snagged on the yarn. I recommend trying different hooks out for yourself. You can buy single hooks of the Tulip hooks to try if you don’t want to spend the money on the set.
