In most movies you will be more likely to see a Catholic than a Protestant. Why are movies that way? Many, if not most, Hollywood movies, and TV shows show a disproportionate amount of Catholic imagery. This is true in horror movies especially, in films like "The Exorcist" and shows like "Evil" on Paramount+, and "Midnight Mass" on Netflix. But it isn't just in horror movies. You will see this in everything from Gran Torino starring Clint Eastwood, down to shows like "Law & Order" on NBC and Peacock. This is not a theological talk, but a movie talk.
