This jazz waltz was composed for the great jazz trumpeter, Blue Mitchell by Dallas musician, Roger Boykin and appeared on Mitchell's album "Step Lightly." Blue loved the tune and recorded it on two different albums, the first of which was never released. The version heard here was recorded in 1963 but not released by Blue Note Records until 1981 after Mitchell's death.
