ALVOR WALKING TOUR THE ALGARVE - Portugal Winter 2020, We revisit Alvor The Algarve Portugal and explore the old city and find the ruins of the Moorish Castle, Castelo de Alvor. Alvor is a city of Irish Pubs we found the Black Stove, the largest Irish Pub in Alvor. We have a great snack lunch at The Suica Snack Bar of grilled cheese sandwiches (Cheese Toasties) and a pint of Estrella beer for 90 cents.

After lunch we explore the boardwalk and waterfront of The Alvor River part of an estuary. Here is where there are lots of fish restaurants and concession stands for boat and fishing trips along the coast. We see the commercial fishermen's buildings and the fishing equipment.

Alvor is a small town with a lot to offer, there are many hotels on the sandy beaches just outside of the downtown, plenty of restaurants including eight Indian Restaurants and six Irish Pubs.
