The 1970s and 1980s saw the introduction of wide-body aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and Airbus A300, further expanding Air France's global network. In the 21st century, the airline continues to modernize its fleet with fuel-efficient and technologically advanced aircraft, including the Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
