Why choose Bi-directional static load test?

Bi-directional load test, a new method to test pile load capacity, is simply performed by inflating an pre-embedded load cell (super-cell) to splitting the pile into two parts, so each part can be measured with the other part as a reaction. This method was originally developed by Prof. Osterberg of USA, and Ougan Group (www.ougangroup.com/en) now has developed super-cells to make it easier and more cost-effective for labs to test static load of piles.
