foreigner studying Chinese and Wushu in Beijing, China ~ DOCUMENTARY

This is an old documentary I shot while I was a student at Capital Institute of Physical Education in Beijing. My good friend Michael from Czech Republic came to our uni for an exchange year and while we trained, lived and laughed together I shot this little documentary about him and his life at CIPES (Capital Institute of Physical Education and Sports).

In fact this documentary was created as an assignment for the documentary class I attended for a semester (yes, although majoring in Wushu, I had the option to choose this class as well, which I happiliy did). This documentary even won a prize when my teacher submitted it to a student documentary festival!

Although it's old (shot in 2014) and film making wise it's sure subpar compared to newer works of mine, I think it's still entertaining and interesting to watch. For me personally it brings back fond memories of my time at the uni - most likely the happiest times of my life.
