The Hollowed-Out Rocks Are Stranger Than You Think | Fallout Lore

Behind Megaton is a very special rock, it’s appearance is ordinary, but a closer inspection reveals the rock to be hollow. Inside is a sniper rifle, ammunition, stealth boy, stimpaks and a note titled “As requested” which reads.

So, long story short E provided S with hunting gear, but we don’t know who these people are or what S is hunting. In any case E doesn’t want S telling other people where the equipment came from, and due to how secretive the drop point is, there’s a good chance they are up to something unethical, or by our standards, illegal. Now there’s no one in the game calling themselves E or S, which is why it’s a mystery, but that’s not going to stop me from trying to work out who these people really are.
