Cascade River Road to Sahale Arm & Cascade Pass Trailhead, Washington, USA

The views start right from the parking area. The road up was not bad, but people aren't kidding about the wash board. SUV or not, it sure feels like you are being rattles apart for a few sections. There were a couple potholes, but overall really good conditions, just rough, dusty, and long. When we were behind another vehicle there was so much dust we could barely see, like driving in fog. We got there just before 9 on a beautiful Sunday and got some roadside parking quite close.
