Vox AC30CC2X Converted To Hand Wired Input Jacks

In this video I replace the factory PCB with the plastic 1/4" inputs to hand-wired Switchcraft™ 1/4" shut-tip jacks in the VOXAC30CC2X™. The factory printed circuit board is no longer available so this fix may be the way to go if your board or jacks are broken or dodgy or if you just want a durable alternative installed in your gigging amplifier.



DO NOT service your tube amp unless you're knowledgeable about the electrocution hazards within. Tube amps run on very high DC voltages which can be lethal. I take no responsibility for any accidents resulting from watching my videos. My assumption will always be that only well-informed individuals will attempt these repairs.
