We review and test the Tineco Pure One S15. Tests include carpet, hard floor, hair, edges, run times, noise level, large debris, etc. See it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3yalVeQ

In this video review we introduce the Tineco Pure One S15 and the three S15 models. We have the S15 Pet and we walk through the items you get with this package, including the handheld component, the wand, the cleaner head, the tools, and the charging stand.

We discuss the crevice tool, the combination tool, and the mini power brush, and we highlight how to use the hair cleaning tool. We show that the tools can be used on the end of the wand or attached to the handheld and that they are fastened with a button lock.

We show the mini power brush in action on fine/small/medium size debris and on hair. These tests are done on medium pile carpet with the vacuum in Auto power mode.

We investigate the cleaner head and highlight all the features and facets. We show the LED lighting, the wheels, and how to remove and reinstall the brushroll. In addition we show and explain how the zero-tangle technology works. We often refer to this as anti-tangle technology.

We highlight the unit’s two power modes: Auto and Max. We explain how the dust sensor is used with respect to Auto power mode to maximize both cleaning and battery power. We show a table of vacuum suction in air watts. The suction table shows many of the cordless vacuums we have tested and it includes the S15 so viewers can get a comparative idea of the vacuum’s power.

The detachable battery is discussed and we remove and reattach the battery. We also highlight why this feature is so desireable.

We show the charging base and how it stores the three tools provided with the S15 Pet. We also discuss the weight of the base and show how the vacuum can be stored and charged in the base. We like the charging base solution more than a wall mount solution.

We perform our own run time tests in both Auto power mode and Max power mode. Tests are done on medium pile carpet and hard flooring (tile). We show the results in a table and discuss how they differ from the run time figures presented by the manufacturer. We also provide a table of the tested run times for all of the Tineco vacuums we have reviewed (A10 Hero, S11, S12, S15).

We walk though all the different items in the LED display on top of the handheld unit. In addition, we show how the dirt monitoring loop works and how it turns red when dust/debris is encountered. Also, how the suction bar increased when dust/debris is encountered.

We highlight the different controls on the handheld vacuum and how they work. We also discuss in detail the “Dust Empty Slider” and what is designed to do. Also, how we don’t feel the feature works as well as it could. In addition, we compare the dust canister sizes of the S11, S12 and S15.

The vacuum has three filters. Two pre-motor filters – one metal mesh and one cloth. There is also a HEPA filter. The pre-motor filters are inside the dust canister and are easy to access (we show how). The metal mesh filter can simply be brushed or wiped off, while the other pre-motor filter can be rinsed in water. Tineco suggests cleaning this filter once a month and replacing it after 6 months. The HEPA filter is also rinsable in water and should be cleaned every 3 months and replaced after 12 months. The HEPA filter is held in place via a magnet which is a feature we haven’t seen before. It works well.

We discuss vacuum weight and we line up a host of other cordless vacuums and compare the weight of the S15 to the other machines.

We also talk about maneuverability – both on carpet and hard flooring and we show what we like. We also discuss what we don’t like.

Using a digital noise level meter we test for peak decibels. We show a table of where the S15 stands in terms of noise compared to many other cordless vacuums we've tested over the years.

We perform and show a series of cleaning tests. Tests are performed on carpet and hard floors using both fine/small/ medium debris and also large debris. Results are discussed.

We perform a hair cleaning test using long black human hair and short white pet hair on low pile carpet. We investigate the brushroll and the inside of the cleaner head after this test to see if there is hair tangle.

An edge cleaning test shows whether the S15 can clean (using the cleaner head) right up against a wall or edge.

Finally we highlight some of the features of the App provided with the vacuum.
