This song, written by 陳歌辛 (Chen Gexin) in 1945, was originally written to celebrate the liberation of China from the Japanese after WWII, but is now widely known in China as the Happy New Year song. The title has been translated to "Congratulations" or "Wishing You Happiness and Prosperity". The original version was sung by 姚莉 (Yao Li) and her brother 姚敏 (Yao Min).
