and Welcome to a Chili ( Chicken Nuggets, Schezwan Sauce, Pickle ) Special Episode of @RedSoilStories
Pooja had gone to the farm to harvest this year's chilies. These chilies are used to make various recipes and dishes. Mainly masala is made from this harvest and we'll be making it but Pooja decided to use these chilies and make something different.
She first brought the chilies home, kept most of them for drying, used the greener once to make dahi mirchi. Dahi mirchi is a traditional recipe which is used to make a storage of ready to fry chilies with some spices. She prepared it and kept for drying in the sun for 6-7 days.
Next day she started preparing Pickle from the chilies. Chili Pickle is a less known but very tasty pickle which can be stored for months. It is a spicy yet delicious version of pickle.
Later in the evening she preparing schezwan sauce using the red chilies and some other spices.
This schezwan sauce can be used and stored to use later.
After 4-5 days she packed up the dried Dahi mirchi, Seasoned the pickle and packed it up to use later. In the evening Pooja prepared chili chicken nuggets as my Maasi has come and the all enjoyed the chicken nuggets with schezwan sauce.
