Ask an Expert: Skin & Wound (Intertrigo) with Coloplast

Описание к видео Ask an Expert: Skin & Wound (Intertrigo) with Coloplast

In this Ask an Expert session, our supporters at Coloplast share advice, insight, and treatment options for Intertrigo.

The “Heat Dome” in BC, Summer of 2021, brought forward an issue in the minds (and bodies) of many peers; a complicated ‘heat rash’ in the folds of the skin of wheelchair users. With summer now upon us, and the possibility of another rise in temperature, we thought we would bring the topic up now to help those who might experience this issue which affects Skin and Wound Care. This rash is called Intertrigo and Jessica Lee and Patricia Dahlback from Coloplast will be explaining what it is how to prevent, recognize and treat it. Hosted by SCI BC's Scott Heron. This session was held on June 28, 2022.
