The boss has several attacks:

Summon swords that is surrounding you. After it's full, it'll reduce your HP to 1, so immediately use Dread Hand to dodge it.
Summon torrents of water in a straight line that goes to the bottom. Just use Dread Hand when it's close to you.
Summon ball of water on the screen. Push it so it falls on the pit. It'll summon into a hazard that will make it harder to dodge if you don't.
The boss will raise his right hand and throw spears to the bottom line. Just don't be in the same line as the boss.
The boss will raise rocks in a straight line. If it's on the first line, ignore it. It will help you to avoid the spear attack. If not, just clear it.

Just keep on attacking the boss whenever you are able. After a while, the boss will slash the ground into two for phase two. It will have new attacks and some of the existing ones:

The boss will summon a lot of light on the ground. Dodge them all. This attack won't appear in floor that has rocks in it, so it's better if you clear as many rocks as you can while still leaving room to cover.
The boss will appear from the left and then move to the right side, or vice versa. Wait on the other side and attack it when the boss is moving to that side.
The boss will slam the ground and shoots bullet in all direction. Avoid the bullet then attack the boss.
