Ludhiana West MLA and Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjeev Arora on Sunday resigned as MD of Hampton Sky Realty and its wholly owned subsidiaries. In total, Arora separated himself from 8 firms. He told the company’s board in his resignation letter on Sunday that he is leaving this post from 3 August 2025.

Sanjeev Arora said that on June 23, he was elected MLA from Ludhiana West and became a cabinet minister on July 3. Hence, he is separating himself from the work of the companies to fulfill the responsibilities of the ministerial post.

Sanjeev Arora in his letter wrote, “It is with a deep sense of gratitude and respect that I tender my resignation from the office of Managing Director of Hampton Sky Realty Ltd. (“the Company”), with effect from August 03, 2025, pursuant to the provisions of Section 168 of the Companies Act, 2013 read with the applicable rules made thereunder.

Pursuant to my recent election as a Member of the Legislative Assembly w.e.f. June 23, 2025 representing the State of Punjab, I have also been vested with the distinguished responsibility of serving as a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Punjab as appointed by the Hon’ble Governor of Punjab w.e.f. July 3, 2025.

Notably, Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar had addressed a press conference on Sunday, a few hours back when Arora tendered his resignation.
