“We are activists only so long as people are A-holes to us. It’s not like we wake up and think, ‘Hume bahar jaake naare lagane hain,’ I want to wake up and go to shoot or do something productive, just like everyone else. But it all comes down to respect.

A lot of time people don’t understand the other person and decide, ‘They are wrong.’ Like for example, people in the comment section tell me, ‘Be a man,’ and I’m like, I don’t want to be a man – you be a man. They don’t understand the choices I’ve made and who I am – and that’s okay. But all I ask is to be respected, even if not understood!”

Sushant Divgikr, also known by his drag queen persona Rani KoHEnur, is a multi-talented performer, actor, singer, and drag icon who has taken the Indian entertainment industry by storm.

They are a force to be reckoned with in India's drag scene, known for their captivating performances and fierce style. Their unique blend of Indian and Western influences has made them a fan favorite and has helped to bring drag into the mainstream in India.

In addition to their incredible talent, Sushant is also an advocate for LGBTQIA+ rights and has used their platform to speak out against discrimination and promote acceptance.
