MARY SHELLEY's novel, FRANKENSTEIN, was adapted by Ruth Roche for publication in comic book form by Classics Illustrated in December 1945.
Classics Illustrated Magazine's original 169 editions were published from 1941 through 1962. In the 1950's & 1960's, these original magazines were reprinted with different covers than the original 169.
This video is of one of the reprinted issues.
